NTL and Live

Does the 360 configure itself without having to contact our service provider(in this case NTL)?

I am on Ntl and Xbox 360 Live works fine no problems.

I just use the 360 Wireless Adapter which connects to my wireless router.

Ntl is plugged into the wireless router.

yeah should do. been usin Live on ntl happily for the past month. though i did set mine up to use a specific IP etc with my router, it should automatically set everythin up for you

Yeah, no problems using NTL.
NTL actually sell Xbox Live! packs (or they did).

ntl have got rid of charging for xbox live , good on them but i never paid it anywayz lol

I think you paid like £5 per month to rent a router off them, like you would for an extra set top box.

Use NTL as well and they are great despite the abuse they get. We getting 1mb connection unmetered, uncapped for £10 a month. Can't beat that
