ntl bb problem

hi guys,
a mate of mine is having problems getting his NTL BB modem to work with his pc, when it boots you get a nice error message ( which i cant remember at the moment ) the error is related to the ntl software because when you try and install that it give's the same program name with the error.

when connecting the modem via the usb xp installs the drivers fine, but it wont connect to the net, and the same if you connect it via the lan port.

any ideas??

yea, it use to work before the computer was re-installed.

the error is somthing to do with vtruck.exe from what i can remember but i dont know what vtruck is?
