NTL BB problems in Belfast?

I posted earlier about having problems with my new router but I think the problem could actually be the NTL network.

Anyone else having problems in Belfast, or anywhere else for that matter? It's says on the ntl site that there's planned maintenance being carried out this week, but I'd like to be sure that the problem isn't with the router.

I'm from Bangor, and I've been having problems for the last 8 months, randomy disconnects, gets really slow and unusable quite a lot now. I'm with Pipex and most of my friends have been having trouble with their internet and they're with different ISPs. Must be BT overloading exchanges around the country.

He is on NTL, so BT has nothing to do with him.
