As title, I'm wondering if the normal coax out will feed a MCE box with the relevant freeview signal or does it strictly only produce the basic terrestrial channels?

u need a cable decoder for the digital channels.

you get a dozen or so channels with analogue TV card but need to make sure card is capable of low frequencies.

have my NTL coax split into modem and TV and I get:

BBC1
BBC2
ITV
Channel 4
Five
Cartoon Network / TCM
BBC News 24
Sky News
VH1
QVC
Discovery Channel

er.. think thats it, as said above though I only have mine connected to aerial in on TV :)

Picture is pretty good too :)

Freeview transmissions are not broadcast via the cable networks cabling.

There are talks of switching the analogue transmissions (channels listed above) off which apparently they have done in areas, don't know if this is true though.
