Hi guys,

I'm looking to move all the furniture around in the living room, but what I need to know is are NTL cables compatible with more than one device?

The white box where the connection enters has 2 seperate cables coming from it, 1 for TV, 1 for my broadband.

If I were to swap them around, and put the modem on the end of the cable where the STB was, and visa vera, would things still work?

This may sound stupid, but I genuinely dont know :D

Thanks in advance!

I'd just try it, TBH.

You might have to swap attenuators round (silver block, usually just the one either at the start or end of the cable), though.

It would work if you swapped both ends. AFAIK the white box connection for each has to be the same as before.

They're just coaxial cables, they can serve a number of uses.
