This is amazing news, I could barely believe when I first saw it. If the trial is already underway then how long before it becomes mainstream? 6-18months? It will be really interesting to see what the upstream will be. I wouldn't be suprised by 100:1 - let's hope not though. In Sweden the 100mbit connections are 1:1 I'm sure.
And Telewest (now NTL entity) in the past has promised 50-100mbit by 2007.
