Apparently, there is a Nationwide problem with DNS lookups. Possibly a DoS attack?

So, try the following:

Use the following DNS servers:

212.159.11.150
212.159.13.150

Go into control panel (Classic View)
Goto Network Connections
Select your preferred network adapter
Right click - Properties
Double click Internet Protocol [TCP/IP]

And use the above numbers as below:

Good Luck all.

This is a cut and paste from my post in the original discussion so excuse me for double posting but thought more people would find it here rather than buried in the original thread.

There are problems all over the UK the network status tools says, with regards to DNS and and connectivity. Must be a major fault if the whole of the UK is affected. Browsing is horrible at the moment.

Although im not sure that plus net would be too pleased if a whole bunch of NTL/Virgin uses started using their DNS servers on a permanant basis :P

is any one else having problems with pages not fully loading etc.. style sheets not loading, pages timing out?

just hoping i'm not the only one having this problem and this will fix me up right nice. :D

Oh, I thought it was just my machine playing up, trying to access myspace yesterday at home and the page would never fully load. Will try this out tonight if it isn't fixed.
