Ntl WIFI???

Ok im trying to set up a wireless internet sharing network with two laptops and a belkin router/wifi. but its not working lol, im not sure if ntl only allows wifi through their own products or you have to pay more? im not sure

this is how im trying to do it...

will this work? do i need one computer contstantly WIRED to the internet? please help

not tried that no. the cable modem has one ethernet out and one usb out. the router has ethernet in for the internet connection and 4 ethernet out

well i got it working by turning everything off and then back on again in sequence. everything worked and both laptops had wireless internet....for about 5 mins

the laptops both see the reciever and can show signal strength but will no longer go on the internet!! when i use a cat5 cable from the wifi straight to laptop it works fine. i cant have 2 duff cards can i?

im not entirely sure what a mac address is but when installing the router i had to connect it to the laptop via ethernet so it could transfer over the settings, so it said. is that what u mean?
