Hey all,

I've burned the Win XP .iso files now using Nero (Boot disk) 4 times (id done bits wrong) but I get this error everytime: NTLDR is missing or cannot be found.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

Ive got no boot.ini file in the ROOT folder of the CD - that tell you anything?

Sigh, this is so frustating.. cant really find anything on the internet..

Cheers.

Are these slipstreamed XP files with SP2 or some kind of nlite setup?

When i burn an OS .iso such as linux i just use Nero burning ROM and click the burn image option and choose the .iso file. I've never burned a xp .iso but expect it would be just the same, maybe you shouldn't burn it in boot disc mode

If your making the image yourself then try and follow these instructions. Link

The instructions are pretty much the same as if you were using Nero.

Ah thanks for the link. And yep, I tried with this Vista compatible ISO burner prog - just had a lot of errors in the BIOS when I tried that.

Trying that guide now.

Cheers
