Ntune is it really any good?

hi everyone i have an 8800 gtx and i have just dloaded ntune and i have gone into the gpu settings to ajust my fan speed, its starts off on auto but i want direct control so i tick the box and set it to 80% but when ever i restart my pc or go back and check its gone back to auto again, i saved a profile but still no luck, am i doing something wrong?

No, its rubbish and buggy. I would uninstall as soon as possible if I were you and use Rivatuner instead.
