Finished my first build in 4 years yesterday, tough job (for me anyhow).
Got everything working except ntune. I'm running Vista 64 Home Premium, on an EVGA 680i, 8800GTX, with an E6600.
3DMARK 05 - 14812, 3DMARK06 9780.
After much fooling around with nVidia drivers I did get it to run once but it ate around 1.4GB of memory!!!!!
So I'm using Speedfan to monitor CPU temps, but what is a good solution for GPU temps with ntune / nvmonitor not working?
It does say on the nVidia site that latest version of ntune is vista 64 compatible, but judging from the number of message threads I'm confident I'm not alone!
I'm going to start overclocking soon so I need my monitors up!
I realise that you can't overclock within windows vista yet (even when / if ntune works), so I guess it'll all be in BIOS. Is there any problem with this?
Cheers!
