After spending most of my Friday night and Saturday morning remotely troubleshooting Paperport for a family friend, I'm ready to give up and seeking alternatives. It seems like the issue is Windows 10 support. I've tried the usual techniques and google results;
- compatibility mode
- run as admin
- reinstall latest ver.
- create new user
I've sent a support email but not holding my breath on a useful response.
Can someone who has used Paperport and moved on to something else recommend any alternatives? The family friend has been using it for years for sorting out their documents. While I understand that the UI will never be the same, I was hoping there's something out there that is similar.
Main use is really to be able to view all the documents in one panel(from one folder) and then move them to other folders and subfolders(usually on the sidebar) in a single window.
