From a little googlage, it seems possible to create a STL file from images taken of an object with a smartphone. If this is the case, is it possible to create a STL file from multiple images of the same thing from the interweb?
Specifically, the project is to produce a print of an Apollo Lunar Rover hand controller. Hand controller image There are hundreds of different images of the hand controllers to be found online. Or do the images have to be of one single item taken in identical lighting/background conditions.
And, while I'm here, what would be the best software to stitch all these images together to make the STL file?
Thanks
