NUC Xbox 360 Remote control

Hi There

I've just invested in a NUC for my Windows 7 XBMC HTPC Setup

I would really like to use a IR remote if poss as the NUC i've gone for has the built in IR sensor.

I've been doing a little reading around and found out that the xbox 360 (black) remote control could be used with the NUC, however I cannot find a clear answer if it can or cannot.

Does anyone know if you can use this?

Also what will it control in Windows 7 as I plan to use Ultrastar Deluxe (Singstar Karaoke PC Clone) and just wondered if it would work with that also (within windows etc)

I used an Xbox One media remote with mine for a while, so I would imagine the 360 one works aswell. That was with Openelc, worked out of the box.
