Numb3rs!? LOL

Love it, I would like to know how true some of the stuff in it is though, like the unsolvable equation that the dude goes back to every now and then?

From that sprinkler in our back garden I can solve any murder possible by printing out loads of maps with hot zones on it just by using an equation I write at light speed then rub it all out in frustration!

It is the Best Show ever!! watched all the ep. But shame when I suggested to my friends, they all say (CSI with math? Urgh...)

It's supposed to all be true. The head of the maths department at CalTech (which is the place they use for the university in the program) checks it all and makes suggestions for stories, supposedly. The maths that the actor scrawls on boards is also supposed to be real. I have nowhere near enough knowledge to check it.

The laxity is in the values assigned to things that aren't really very quantifiable, such as motives. The maths itself is supposed to be bona fide, though.

The OP's post linked to uncyclopedia, so it doesn't reflect the program itself. Uncyclopedia is a satire site, taking a dig at Wikipedia.

Awesome show. its my Tuesday night thing with Reaper on Wednesday night. without them they are both poop days with nothing on.
