I am looking for a piece of software or web application that will display numbers for a certain period that is input via a keypad. The numbers will be displayed on a normal monitor. Anyone know of anything?

I don't fully understand what you want.
Do you want to enter a list of several or hundreds of numbers and then display each one for X amount of time before displaying the others?
Or do you just want to type in a number and leave it on the screen for X mins before going back and entering another number? Because a simple word doc would work for this :S

I think what I want can be done using a HTML form but just have not got my head around it.
So I will have 3 fields and in each field only numbers from 1-999 can be entered. So as I enter these numbers they will display below the fields in a large font.
Once numbers have been entered they will scroll through for 5 minutes from when they are entered and clear or until a new number is entered.
Essentially this is going to be used to notify people of their ticket number at a restaurant.

So something like the ticketing system at Argos to tell you which collection point to go to pick up your stuff ?
