I have a Netgear Orbi R353 Mesh system. This states that it can support 30 Devices.

Does this mean it can support more than 30 Devices BUT only 30 actively connected? I have about 34 Devices connected BUT less than about 20 active at any given time.

It's probably simultaneous current connections rather than how many can connect. According to this it's 25 devices but wouldn't worry about it.

This says 512, or 100 per base station.

As much as I think Orbi is overpriced, it’s probably the best of the purely consumer wireless backhaul systems on the market. There’s no way it would be 30 users.

Strange that Netgear gives different answers for this. From what I saw and in the Link provided by GaryTheSnail, above in 2, it seems to be below 30.

I wonder if it depends on the set up and how many "ORBIs" are installed. At the end of the day in a house hold it doesn't matter how many devices you throw at it - it should cope.

True. I guess the more devices you have concurrently, the less Bandwidth they will have to share.
