Hi all,

Where do people recommend for standard road legal number plates? Halford want £32 a pair!

Fixing wise, I take it using the old holes as a position point and drilling through is the best way of fixing them with matching screw caps?

Thanks

I would say that the 'best' way to fix them would be to screw in a numberplate surround, using the existing holes if you like, and then clip the plate in place.

No sticky pads to melt in the sun and no screw holes/caps.

Remember to be completely legal you need to have the name of the place you got them and postcode at the bottom of each plate. Don't see that on those eBay ones.

Not sure what the consequence is, or if they check at MOT (can't remember)

Quoting that £12 place..

"Our plates are manufactured to all BSA145d standards and carry all the required BS Mark, Suppliers Name and Postcode to ensure they conform with current regulations."
