I have a couple of questions on the use of Numbers 09 (I've tried using google but to no avail).
1)
I have data in a series of columns on a blank sheet, and I need to make a x,y 2 dimensional scatter graph from two columns which are not next to each other. I have tried using the cmd key to highlight both columns then click the scatter graph button, but it ignores the first column of data, and resets the x values to a sequential set of numbers. There is a work around I have found which is to copy the columns to another part of the sheet, where they are then next to each other and highlight them both that way and create a scatter plot from them - Although I have a feeling this is not the easiest or best way to do it.
2)
The second problem I have is colouring the resultant line in the scatter plot, I can open the colours panel, and can see all the colour swatches, and I presume you just drag the swatch over the graph to change the colour of the plot. However this doesn't work, again I'm sure there is an easy way to do this!
Thanks in advance,
