I’ve come across a post on Facebook from my cousin in the states who’s having an issue with Excel (Numbers) despite a few replies he’s not yet fond a solution, can OC/UK ride to his rescue albeit from the other side of the Atlantic?
Any help appreciated, I don’t have the first clue with Excel unfortunately.
This is his post....
Thanks.

I am looking for someone who can help me solve a problem within Numbers, the Apple version of Excel. Please PM me if you know the answer so we can arrange a time to talk this through.
I have a two column spreadsheet, both columns being used to rank/order information. The second column is long and growing beyond what can be printed on one sheet of paper. What I would like to do is force the data in column B to flow into Column C when it reaches a certain length. For example, 40 entries in Column B; when the 41st is entered, it flows to Column C, as do subsequent entries.
Of course, I can cut and paste to create a column C based on a sort, but when a new entry is made, it would all have to be redone.
Thanks.
