Numpty Excel question

Please excuse the stupidness of this question but have to ask anyway.

Am trying to draw a blank graph and want to use the data i have added in two columns of cells (1 is temp, the other is time) as the data on the axis of the graph.

How do i do this?

The reason is that manual temp readings are taken and then plotted over time ona chintzy laminated sheet.

(first enter your chart axis XY data, and create a line graph)

click line
format data series - set line colour to white

right click chart background, set to 'clear'

you'll get blank chart with the axis numbered as per XY data


'tis a bit of a cludge though, I'd use some proper charting software, you'd get a prettier result
