I've 2x140mm fan filter for the top of my case which doesn't have fans installed but screws don't fit so I'm wondering what size bolts/nuts will I need?

M3 nuts and bolts should fit. Depending on the head size/nut size, you may also need some flat washers. Rubber washers would be even better because they should reduce any vibration.

Or something similar. Akasa do some black ones that are cheaper, not sure if OCUK stock them though.

You can get the nuts according to your head size. Measure it and get nuts according to its size.
