Nuuuu - damaged my new granite countertop :(

Sooo I was putting a big jar of Marmite back into the cupboard last night, thinking the lid was screwed on - it wasn't

Cue: 100000 pieces of shattered glass (mostly covered in Marmite) and a now-chipped counter top

They're not particularly major chips, you can only really notice them if you run your fingernail over them.

Can anyone suggest any way to repair it? I'm assuming I should repair it, as it'll get worse over time?

Appreciate any tips

Going to weep in the corner for a bit now!

I'd always been under the impression that you should use epoxy resin as a filler. I've just been doing a bit of digging, and came across:

Other sites just mention calling in an expert. Not particularly cost effective.

Do you still have the chip that was taken out?

hmm well it's not really a chip as such, more of a dent? As in, the damaged area pretty much turned to a fine dust (if you see what i mean!)

Is it in an area where you would/could use a chopping board? If so just cover it, if the filler doesn't blend in well then it will annoy you more.
