nv 280 v 4870 crossfire

Hey Guys

Im new to the forums w00p, I basically need to decide which to buy ASAP, i would appreciate any comments because im completely out of my depth when it comes to this debate, i have read through the forums, there are definetly some posts that help, however nothing definitive to help me choose, perhaps this is an easy answer im not sure?! furthermore .. which to buy .. the nvidia 280 or the 2x 4870 Crossfire?!

i use 2 4870s in xfire and get just over 20000 in 3dm06 at default settings

But the price is near enough the same.

For the 9800GX2 and 4850 theres a big price difference.
