NV Silencer

Yes they are good, easy to fit and also gets rid of the heat out the back of the case. Unless you have an Asus card that is. They don't fit those as Asus did'nt use the reference design for the 6800.

Other good coolers are the VF700/900, AC accelero X1 or the Thermalright HR-03 VGA Cooler. None of which exhausts the hot air.

Original design AC's are great. Any cooler that vents straight out of the back instead of dumping the heat internally is a better design in my opinion ;). Whenver I have the choice, I use back vent coolers for my cards.

Then you only have the VF700/900, Thermalright HR-03 or the Accelero X1 which are all good but don't dump the heat out the back of the case. You had better check the compatiablity chart Here for the Accelero X1 though.

There is the Revoltec Graphic Freezer Pro here which i believe exhausts the air out of the case but i have'nt a clue about compatiability.

Dude, read it again:

"We use ATIs respectively NVIDIAs standard power plugs. Asus is unfortunately not following ATIs/NVIDIAs solutions and therefore our plug doesn't fit. You can either cut both plugs and connect the wires correspondingly or you can also get 12 Volt power directly from the PSU. There you have to connect the wires as follows: black with black and red (VGA) with yellow (PSU). The yellow cable from the VGA is an RPM signal, that is not needed. "

Therefore, fan plug hackage is required ;)

i made the same mistake and didnt read that it doesnt fit asus cards, but here is what i did, time to get the soldering iron out! :D
