try a bit of brasso or tcut, should sort it.

Brasso leaves a coating on the surface, that should be cleaned off with some IPA or similar, not sure but T-cut may be similar as it's a paste.

Some IPA will clean it off, or paste on some tomato ketchup for 10 minutes then rinse off.

cillit bang does a good job, not sure on whether it does the copper any good.

literally takes 20 secs to bring the copper up

Use vinegar, useful for cleaning copper (thats why the IPA and Tom sauce work) although im not sure what it will do to any plastic.

wel used vinigar and now it not got any better and put little holes in the block

IPA is Propan-2-ol contains no vinigar also it cannot be oxidised into vinigar(ethanoic acid) as it would have to lose an carbon and its an ketone anyway so cant oxidise.
