I have tried overclocking my CPU by raising the FSB on the BIOS however this way I can only overclock from 1.6Ghz to 1.64 GHz on a new semprom 2800 (sorry dont know what core Paris? but should be v.clockable). Also when it fails I have to reset the Mobo which is a pain as the little jumper is very difficult to get to.
I read a review of this motherboard that said the same thing and thay were forced to use software clocking (the impression was this was worse - anyone know why?). So I got clockgen and can o/c from 1.6 to 2GHz without changing anything else (not tested stability properly though) but the problem is there is no setting to automatically apply the clock when I start windows so is there any software to do this?
Also if you've got a similar set-up I would be v.interested in your settings/methods to O/C.
