Beta driver release.
This driver supports single GPU and NVIDIA SLI™ technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL for GeForce 6, 7, and 8 series GPUs.
Improved compatibility for Crysis and BioShock.

Funny as i was sitting at work today wondering if we we might get some new drivers today, and looks like these are the slowdown bug fix, cheers for the heads up. :)

@tom, yeah the slowdown fix will be fixed for Dx10 later, only the Dx9 fix was coming this month. :)

Crysis improvements, right anybody tested the game to verify that, id wager no one has. :p

still aint fixed the bug that happens when you use a via chipset and new nvidia drivers in vista :(

only gfx drivers that work are nearly a year old now , dont even offer open gl :/ and are s slow as can be in dx9 too
 
Downloading again, as usual with new drivers i will install and test a game or two and report if the slowdown bug is still present
 
Well, STALKER and Oblivion have no slowdown! Oblivion with 8xAA and 16xAF = no slowdown at all! They were the two games worst for it, too

Also ran 3dMark 06... score went from a usual 10800ts to 11300! Very pleased with these drivers :)

I benched Bioshock and 3dmark06 with these, I got 9996 3dmarks as opposed to the 10300 with the last driver - bioshock sees no FPS difference though in DX10 from what I can tell with fraps running, IQ looks the same too. I will run a Source stress test now and see what I get - I used to get 213fps so let's see.....

I don't mind losing a few fps here and there really if indeed these drivers have better VRAM management so provide a smoother experience!

Yeah can also confirm Oblivion is clean from the slowdown bug, i just done a test, when you start the game outside the sewers, cross the lake and go up the bank to where the Roxy Inn is, with 2xAA on that used to crawl a bit there with all the grass around there, and also when you entered the Roxy Inn, and came back out it would be a crawl, but its totally fixed, im amazed it even seems like my card is running faster, nice one Nvidia. :cool:

What clocks is your card at btw ?

Excellent, cheers for telling us that. I was getting fed up with that damn bug in Oblivion. Look's like i'll be getting these then. :D
