Is there any actual benefit from having cuda decode hd content (on a machine where the cpu can do it just fine?)

Nvidia 182.06 WHQL driver released

my cards are running 10'c hotter with these drivers
i reverted back to check and then reinstalled them
crashed vantage when the cards were clocked
714 core used to be my max clock on air - but i cant get the cards stable past 700 now
having said that
with the cards at a LOWER clock im seeing Higher bench results
nvidia are shining on these drivers atm - just need to sort out the heat issue
speaking with Locky in our game on left for dead just - he noticed it too
anyone else getting it?
