Nvidia 309.08 driver working for Windows 10?

I recently ran Windows 10 Insider Preview fine using the 309.08 drivers for my old GeForce 760 GT videocard.. Having upgraded to the final release of Windows my driver no longer works, and I am unable to enable dual screens.. I get 2 screens working, but only as mirror..

Seeing as 309.08 (the latest Nvidia drivers for GeForce7, to my knowledge) worked just fine in the Insider Preview, is there any way of getting it to work on the Final Windows 10?

(I know its an old car, and I probably should buy another card, but would like to use the card if I can).

do you mean 7600GT by any chance?

Looking at the 309.08 download page it does say this;

Legacy Support Notification: GeForce 6-series and GeForce 7-series GPUs will be moved to legacy support after GeForce R304 drivers (304.xx to 309.xx). GeForce R310 drivers will not support these products.

So I am guessing they are not planning on supporting the 7600 on Win10 (there also isn't an 8.1 driver I can find)

Yes, sorry.. 7600.. The thing is, the 309 driver worked fine in the Insider Preview.. Why did they make it impossible for us to use it in the final? Let us use it at risk. :)
