Nvidia 30xx and vr.

Anyone looking at one of these to use with vr? Thinking of getting the 3080 myself along with the hp reverb g2 for my sim game.

I've got a 4790k running at 4.4Ghz, so I think at least for VR games thats fine.

It would really be nice to upgrade this headset, but I think that the depth and quality of VR games is still somewhat lacking. Doesn't make sense to drop even more cash into something I only use infrequently.

I use my rift s for a few a hours a night usually sim racing. If it wasn't for sim racing then I would probably stick with the rift s and 1080ti.

Not seen anything yet - 3080 seems to be most beneficial at 4k so I assume this applies to VR?

Hope so i run my rift s with supersampling so must be edging towards 4k. Plus with reverb g2 and oculus quest 2 using 4k screens a 3080 should be a nice upgrade to my 1080ti.
