Hey guys,
For my dissertation next year I'm looking into whether the current 3D push will be the next widely adopted step in home entertainment, or whether it'll just be another passing fad, and while I've had a demo of a 3D TV already, one of the major points of it will be to do with gaming.
While I might well be interested in buying it if it's decent, I'm not willing to fork out the money to buy a 120Hz monitor and the 3D Vision kit just to experience 3D PC gaming once properly so I can write about it in my dissertation. As such, I'm looking for a retailer somewhere who's willing to give me a bit of a trial with the tech, but I've had no luck so far. I'm well within driving range of OcUK (only a 10-15 min drive up the road) so I'd like to know if they have a demo rig that potential buyers can use. If not, does anyone know of any retailer with one set up for customers around Stoke, or in Nottingham (at uni)?
I find it strange that a lot of shops are asking the customers to buy them blind without knowing if it'll live up to their expectations or not beforehand. Surely there's a place I can try before I buy?
