Hello,

I have been trying to get my 3D monitor to run in 3D even though my 2D monitor is attached as well. After finally getting this working (by enabling the secondary monitor in the control panel and not windows display settings), I can't work out how to blank the second screen when I start up a game. It seems to be rendering 1680x1050 of blank desktop, which is eating up FPS from the games. I'm sure im missing something, can anyone point me in the direction of a setting I may have missed? I'm running dual GTX460s in SLI.

Have you set maximise 3D performance in the NVIDIA control panel
and have you connected the monitors as per the configuration settings also in the control panel?

Yes, maximise 3D performance is set, i'm not quite sure what you mean by "...connected the monitors as per the configuration settings", doesn't that just reflect how the monitors are connected?

in the control panel you select configure monitors which shows you how to connect your monitors then apply, then select max 3D .
Thats how it works for me,sorry if it didn't help

Thanks for trying to help though! So when you start up a game it opens on your primary monitor and your second one goes blank?
