I don't know what to think but 1 in 400 users are willing to pay for a £1600+ gpu seems insanely high. I thought the average PC was pretty much a calculator that would play Minecraft lol.
Why would 1 in 400 be your average PC?

Sorry I'm not saying it is the average I'm saying that the average pc bar is so low that 1 in 400 users having a 4090 doesn't seem right. Wasn't there "only" 100,000 4090s rumored to be sold by mid November?
Perhaps the Steam survey is just that highly engaged portion of the market likely to submit results? And hence more likely to have more powerful hardware?

Here in the Galaxy Fold 4 Owners Group, yes, it is.How many people in your friend group pay paid 1000+ for a mobile phone? Is it more than 1 in 400?

Plus I think pay monthly contracts are a lot higher/more socially acceptable for a phone.
Read some reviews and check OCUK prices. FE availability was poor but better than the 3080 series.Hi all. I haven't really been following the 4000 series launch or the equivalent AMD launch.
Can anyone give me a TLDR?
How were prices?
How was FE availability?
What's the general performance uplift this gen?
Thanks.

Benchmarks and comparisons in reviews will tell you the generational differences.I've seen some reviews and prices, I know prices were high, but I haven't followed close enough to see whether the FE was reasonably available to buy. I was more interested in the overall lie of the land this gen which one doesn't get very easily from the individual product reviews.
Yeah check reviews. As a very rough rule of thumb uplifts are in line with price increases over last gen.I've seen some reviews and prices, I know prices were high, but I haven't followed close enough to see whether the FE was reasonably available to buy. Ok thanks, yeah I already got that impression. What about stock and FE? I notice its out of stock on Nvidia's website - how easy has it been to get, how often the drops etc?Yeah check reviews. As a very rough rule of thumb uplifts are in line with price increases over last gen.
Probably best ask on the owners thread - richdog already mentioned availability was better than the 3000Ok thanks, yeah I already got that impression. What about stock and FE? I notice its out of stock on Nvidia's website - how easy has it been to get, how often the drops etc?
