In this specific context of buying GPU's and being able to game how I like then yes, you are correct. Value is always relative.Well as long as you are happy, that's all that matters

Just saw this, @Besty you were right about the 4070 TI choking at 4K.
The RTX 3090 only plays at 33 fps, but it way smoother and much more enjoyable than the 4070 Ti under the same 4K RT Ultra test conditions. The 4070 Ti spits out over 140 fps at 1440p with RT disabled BTW.
This makes no sense. The 4080 is at 70 fps and the 3090 at 33? HOW? Suddenly the 4080 is more than twice as fast? There is something fishy with his testing
I will assume its due to frame generation not working on the 3090. I can't imagine 60-70 FPS feeing too good if FG in Cyberpunk is anything to go by.This makes no sense. He said in his tweet both run under the same conditions.I will assume its due to frame generation not working on the 3090. I can't imagine 60-70 FPS feeing too good if FG in Cyberpunk is anything to go by.
The usual a little bit amd biased hwunboxed.. Does it's competitor, the 16gb 6800xt do better with RT on? I mean come on...
He's not tested the AMD cards yet he said in another tweet. Looks like there is going to be a video so I'm sure we will see the full picture soon. The usual a little bit amd biased hwunboxed.. Does it's competitor, the 16gb 6800xt do better with RT on? I mean come on...
That sinking feeling when you pay £800+ for a 4070ti and it runs out of vram in the latest game. **** Jensen. Amd aint your freind but at least they aint stingy with vram.

Lets for the sake of argument agree that its totally a vram issue and it has nothing to do with the game and it cant get fixed by patches etcThat sinking feeling when you pay £800+ for a 4070ti and it runs out of vram in the latest game. **** Jensen. It might be more RT related than textures in this case. RT can require a lot of VRAM also. We'll see when the HUB video and others come out I guess.Lets for the sake of argument agree that its totally a vram issue and it has nothing to do with the game and it cant get fixed by patches etc
You drop textures from ultra to high and... Voila. Now you are going to argue that you don't want to spend 900 euros on a card and have to drop settings. Well tough luck even with a 4090, undoubtedly by far the fastest card on the planet, you HAVE to drop settings at some games. Cyberpunk is literally unplayable without dlss for example. So whats the issue? You think the 7900xt with its 16gb is going to be playing the game maxed out just fine?
Maybe but still the game needs dlss on both the 3090 and the 4070ti, because regardless of vram, it performs like crap anyways. I mean the 3090 has 24gb, are you going to play the game at 33 fps?It might be more RT related than textures in this case. RT can require a lot of VRAM also. Oh no poor Nexus!
Cards with less than 16gb vram getting destroyed, it's a lovely sight
So the 6800xt with its 16gb is gonna be a baller at 4k rt ultra? Is that what you are saying?Oh no poor Nexus!
