So people are in denial or just hypocrites. GotchaI don’t think any of the new cards will age particularly well bar the 4090 as all the rest aren’t much faster than last gen.

you are only just learning this now?So people are in denial or just hypocrites. Gotcha
My 3080 is still going strong, and at MSRP I’m definitely getting value for money. This is what people said about the 3000 series, it has future proofing in this respect, it doesn't so why is the current gen deemed it more so?
Poorly optimised games are a big part of the problem, and it’s only getting worse because the tech is improving and quality control is getting worse.I don’t think any of the new cards will age particularly well bar the 4090 as all the rest aren’t much faster than last gen.
Well when you do upgrade your 3080 next gen be prepared to pay 1K again like this gen for a decent 60-70% upliftI don’t think any of the new cards will age particularly well bar the 4090 as all the rest aren’t much faster than last gen.
I bet you won't.Well when you do upgrade your 3080 next gen be prepared to pay 1K again like this gen for a decent 60-70% uplift
A 7900xtx is like a 55% boost and that’s under 1k so unless they plan to charge 1k for cards that are 10% faster than what we have now then I doubt that’ll be the case.Well when you do upgrade your 3080 next gen be prepared to pay 1K again like this gen for a decent 60-70% uplift
I don’t think any card would really make (other than a 5090) you swap your 3080 out! But they won’t sell that for £650A 7900xtx is like a 55% boost and that’s under 1k so unless they plan to charge 1k for cards that are 10% faster than what we have now then I doubt that’ll be the case.
Agree he probably won’t..I bet you won't.
We shall see….A 7900xtx is like a 55% boost and that’s under 1k so unless they plan to charge 1k for cards that are 10% faster than what we have now then I doubt that’ll be the case.
Where are you getting 55% from lol? At 1440p The XT is 25% better than a 3080 and the XTX is 15% better than the XT so 40% uplift on the XTX vs 3080!A 7900xtx is like a 55% boost and that’s under 1k so unless they plan to charge 1k for cards that are 10% faster than what we have now then I doubt that’ll be the case.
From a summary of multiple reviews as that provides a more accurate take rather than a single review.Where are you getting 55% from lol? At 1440p The XT is 25% better than a 3080 and the XTX is 15% better than the XT so 40% uplift on the XTX vs 3080!
(At 4K XT is 22% better and XTX is 19% better than the XT so total 41% better vs 3080)
There’s plenty of performance comparison online with the above deltas.
Anyway no one really knows so let’s just see next gen the prices vs performance instead of just speculating… The End
I don’t know what you’re taking but I can only see the XTX being 35% quicker than the 3080 at 4K.From a summary of multiple reviews as that provides a more accurate take rather than a single review.
The 7900XT is 30% faster the 4080 is 48% faster the 7900XTX is 55% faster and the 4090 is 96% faster.
Yeah its 35% slower but 54% faster.I don’t know what you’re taking but I can only see the XTX being 35% quicker than the 3080 at 4K.
Closer to 40% on TechPowerUP I quoted earlier.
EDIT: I can now understand what you’ve done. You’ve taken the difference of 35% between the XTX and 3080 and calculated the %age improvement which is 53%.
But most review sites don’t give this way of displaying performance.Yeah its 35% slower but 54% faster.
Go get one then @Joxeon and stop moaning lolYeah its 35% slower but 54% faster.
For a 3080 owner the 4090 actually delivers the best value for an upgrade.
How is it misleading when its actually more accurate? But most review sites don’t give this way of displaying performance.
So it’s misleading to the majority reading your posts.
Let’s all be polite and civil- (you’ve deleted the statement about me not understanding percentages conveniently) there’s no need to critique others understanding of maths etc- that’s borderline undermining behaviour and shows who you are.
I give up with you. Clearly you enjoy trolling. How is it misleading when its actually more accurate?
tbh it’s your posts which are the troll posts.I give up with you. Clearly you enjoy trolling.
