I've been waiting for a few years at least now. It never feels like it's the right time to buy. At this rate I'll be retiring before getting a new GPU.
I mean I would if it was at a decent price, but I have no idea how AMD compares to Nvidia these days. Not interested in AMD?
"We can easily sell this for £1000!"You'd think when a x60 tier card hits £600 someone at Nvidia might start asking "err guys, what are we doing?"

Nvidia decided not to ship new cards so they at least get some sales from tech reviewers."Influencers" having to buy their own product?
The horror!

A 7900XT is about 12% faster than a 4070ti and 35% faster than a 4070 in raster, in RT it sits between the two but also has 8gb more VRAM than either of the Nvidia cards which going forward 12gb is likely to become an issue in the near future consider it’s only 1gb more than a 1080ti had 7 years ago so if you plan to keep the card for a good while then the 7900XT will definitely have some extra mileage.I mean I would if it was at a decent price, but I have no idea how AMD compares to Nvidia these days.
AMDs low end stuff is the same.i only found out today that the 4060 cards are only 8x pcie - its ridiculous - thats too slow even for my 9 year old motherboard

ahh i see, fair enough.it is gen 4 bandwith speed so if you dropped back to gen 3 it becomes x16 speed in effect so you wont loose much performance in games
