That'll be down to time constraints of only getting the card on launch day. Probably be 4K results in a later video.

Probably. The vRAM probably costs a bit? Especially 24GB. There's R&D and software support to take into account. Plus shipping and packaging etc.

Markup is easily 100%+ though.

VRAM is cheap, I could buy it for $3 per 1gb and I'd imagine in the quantities Nvidia buy at then it would probably be closer to a dollar.

Yeah I see that. Although to be fair 1440p is probably the most relevant res for this card. Still I hope techpowerup has something soon as they usually cover all these kinds of bases. And don't tell me they've given up on the idea as they review all sorts of random AIB variants.

what i'm looking for is non-gaming benchmarks.

Local Stable Defusion, Photoshop, Divinci Resolve, AI Apps, Cinebench etc

The level of performance it delivers compared to the previous gen would have traditionally cost between $200-300 while for $500 you would expect a card slightly faster than a 4070ti.

I was also wondering if they'd react. But I doubt it too. They seem content with low sales volumes and pushing the narrative that their cards are all worth a fortune.

Looks like they may actually be done with Lovelace production and shifted everything into Hopper for the foreseeable future (in that case they really wouldn't want the cards to shift any faster than they are).
