NVIDIA 4000 Series

They re usde the 4090 coolers for most of the 4080s. Total overkill but not a problem as long as your case can handle it.

Said it before and will say it again. The 4080 is a great product at a terrible price. Great performance at decent power used but the price just sucks and is the reason it has sold so poorly.

Agreed. Unfortunately the price means it stinks.

£799 and I would buy one today.

Anyone know if the 4080 ventus is any good heat and noise wise?
After buying a 3080 Ventus as that was the only one I could get at launch I personally wouldn’t buy another ventus series card, power limits were locked and while stock performance was ok the card just felt cheap and tacky.

Agreed I had a 3080 ventus that was admirable in that it performed very well at stock levels but had minimal OC headroom and looked a bit cheap. I got my ventus for £945 during the mining craze. Not worth more than £500 at the time! Sold it for a minor loss of £150 just before 40 series and ran the 60ti FE instead. The FE was so much better built vs the Ventus.

Might just have to use a 4070 FE and save up for a 4090 FE. However, it is one FE per customer isn't? I am only interested in redoing another Formd T1 for transporting easily. The Sapphire cards I wanted will not go in unfortunately and I do not like any of the other models which will fit (MBA or Pulse).

I don't think it's one per customer? I caved and bought a 4070 recently and remember seeing could add more than one so am sure could buy a 4090 later.
Was hoping to skip this generation but being without a GPU and wanting to pick up a few games again especially as autumn seems to have arrived early, as well as my aging system struggling a bit using iGPU(9900K) in some apps, so I went with the minimum I could get away with at 1440P. As an occasional gamer it's all I could justify, at current prices.
Bit of a side-grade from a 3080 I had some time ago but does have some benefits, like DLSS 3 where supported, extra memory and much lower power usage than the 3080.

The Inno 4070Ti would work in the Formd T1 as that's a dual slot 70Ti - although like anything with that case it also depends on what CPU / cooling you're running.

I've still got my Formd T1 all nicely boxed up and ready to go for another system, just having a hard time deciding what components I want to actually run it (i5 13600k vs. 7800x3D etc.)

It might cancel your order if you bought another one, i'm sure the 1 per customer is still in effect.

I hate it when they use cheap plasticy and tacky looking coolers. The card might be great but the general feel of the card in the hand is really important to some people, different between holding gold and a piece of coal lol.

I run on the OC (Gaming) bios. Not a noticeable difference in sound for me so why not?

I also have the firmware of the card fully updated via MSI Center.
Interesting how does one do this please? and do I have to update each bios version silent and gaming? Reason I ask I have a problem with my MSi Gaming x trio 4090 it seems ... sometimes ill turn on my pc graphics card is lit up etc but in games its stuck at 0% and have bad fps etc doesn't do anything and the fans are not spinning!!! so I have to reboot the pc 8/10 this fixes it but it is annoying!!!!!
