NVIDIA 4000 Series

Interesting how does one do this please? and do I have to update each bios version silent and gaming? Reason I ask I have a problem with my MSi Gaming x trio 4090 it seems ... sometimes ill turn on my pc graphics card is lit up etc but in games its stuck at 0% and have bad fps etc doesn't do anything and the fans are not spinning!!! so I have to reboot the pc 8/10 this fixes it but it is annoying!!!!!
Install MSI Center and when you get to their main screen there is a tab up to the top called 'Support'.

You can then hit scan and it will show if there are any live updates available for the product. I remember when I updated my 4090 there was a worrying length of black screen but after a good period it came back on. I didn't need to update each bios or anything, MSI Center just handled that for me.

Apparently according to the well established leaker kopite7kimi, The 4090Ti with full fat AD102 is cancelled which makes sense, Nvidia would have to massively under charge to make them appealing to the upper echelon of gamers when they can just sell them as A6000's for £6000 to the AI sector which fly off the shelves like hot cakes.

That and it would disrupt the market against their own interests as they'd likely have to lower the current price of the 4090 and 4080 (and probably others) to accommodate it in the lineup. Unless they charge £2-2.5k for it.

But when you can get £6k+ for every one you make for AI then why bother!!!!

Yep, it's not just the ai GPU prices it's also AMD.

If AMD could match the 4090 Nvidia would be incentivised to make a Ti to maintain their brand and performance crown. But as it stands the 4090 stands alone a top the gaming mountain, so making a Ti would just be undercutting yourself for no benefit - Nvidia has massive market share and they have the brand image and performance crown, they don't need anything faster so if they can sell the same silicon as AI chips for 4 times the price then they should, it's best for business

If AMD could match the 4090

I forget who tested it, Der8auer maybe ? But if you push the 7900XTX to over 600 watts with a special bios under water it can match a 4090 pulling 300 watts in raster so AMD can do it but they'd never live it down needing to have a 600 watt card just to match the competitions 300 watts result.

It is comical but reinforces that there must be some collusion in some form in how they perform and their prices. After all they are both making margins they want.
