I had to check this out and you were not kidding, that's a mid range card pulling 107 watts in Starfield
If you check the stats below, his 4070's fan isn't even spinning, zero rpm mode is still engaged

The ROG Plat cards back in the day were so nice. I had one, can't remember which one i had, i also had the 980ti Poseidon cards which were super nice and semi watercooled!
Not a huge fan of this card, the frame around it seems absolutely unnecessary and bulky. Notice the amount of dents on the fins too on the radiator, yikes!

wonder if that still has coil whine
ADA is energy efficient due to the N4 node but the real efficiency comes from card specs all being downgraded so a 4070 is really a 60 class product.I picked up a 4070 from a friend, I didn't realise just how energy efficient "ada lovelace" is

Hi guys, do you think im safe using this angle cablemod adapter, i have heard a lot of burning and catching fire information
im posing this cause the adapter when stress testing games ect the adapter gets very very hot, i can put my finger on it but after 5 seconds i have to take finger off or it burns me .... is this normal....

Nope, Nope and 10 times nope, Get that fire hazard off your card. There's a reason CableMod are releasing a V2.
Get yourself a good cable, Maybe from your PSU manufacturer and make sure it's fully seated flush.

Thanks guys, will remove it and get a proper fastgear pci 5.0 cable that goes directly to my psu and the card
Which PSU do you have ? Your PSU manufacturer may make a proper cable. I'd personally go with that over Fasgear.
I cant seem to find the proper cable, my psu is a 2000w superflower *8PACK* psu.
the fastgear cable seems to be compatible with my psu

I'd get in touch with Superflower and ask them if they have a 12VHPWR cable for their PSU. I really wouldn't recommend Fasgear for a 12VHPWR cable.

Did email them ages ago but heard nothing back from them.... *ignored basically* lol will try again cause i know they do the cable but i think its only available in the states... i cant seem to find it for sale in the uk.
