NVIDIA 4000 Series

Have gone back to the 3090 and it’s sooooooOOoOoO quiet compared to the 4090 cards, pulling the same voltage.

Probably sticking with this tbh.

I'm doing the same. Had a nice bonus and contemplated a 4090 but I'd need a new case and the 3090 does just fine for most of my gaming. I'll just put the money aside and pray the 5090 isn't £2k.

I did only pay £600 for my 3090 though, second hand just over a year ago.

I will likely just end up with a 5070 assuming tiers and pricing are similar. Will no doubt have at least 16GB and be more efficient than what we have now. Not enough time for gaming to warrant spending too much more. Maybe a 5070 Ti if it is not a dud like the 4070 Ti.

As long as I can hit 60fps I am good :D

Interesting jumps this month. 4070 making a comeback?

A lot of movement in the charts generally, possibly due to Counterstrike 2.

Strange, People have been saying on here and making jokes that the 4080 is selling poorly but its score of 0.64 is higher than both the 7900 XTX 0.19 and 6900 XT 0.18 combined?

Given the accuracy of this hardware survey can be called into question I'd kinda would take this over random rumors and speculation so is there any hard data the the 4080 is selling bad?

Better to compare it with previous 80 series products like the 1080, 2080 or 3080. Probably selling badly for that class of product to Nvidia customers, there are a lot of them!

No need to worry about it being 2K, it will be 2.5K!!!

I saw a detailed Steam Survey analysis with timeframes etc. and the 4000 series are selling way more than the 3000 series.

I think it's time to move on, these prices are here to stay. Can we please go back to bickering about random stuff?

If you look at Nvidia's gaming revenue its about 1/3 of what is was at this point in the 3000 series cycle and thats with the cards MSRP being doubled so with that taken into account I think ADA is only selling at a rate of 1 to 5 compared to Ampere.

Nvidia can't hear you over all the billions and billions they're making on AI atm.... :p

More like Busted Silicon

Zen 4 vs Golden Cove, a video full of fan fiction tier analysis = nuked off the earth

"Zen 4 will have SMT4, 100% sure" = nuked

Video about a Navi lineup that was completely false = nuked

Another Navi lineup "leak"? = nuked

Threadripper fanfiction? = nuked

Zen 3 I/O die speculation = nuked

He has repeatedly shown that knows squat about CPU or GPU design which leads to his analyses being fundementally flawed. It leads to him misunderstanding things and furthermore extrapolating from his misunderstandings.

The insecurity he has shown numerous times in his videos and in his way of dealing with negative backlash is palpable, and it's why he keeps deleting every video where his leaks or faux analysis ends up being wrong

Nvidia ships and sells discrete GPUs at like a 9:1 ratio against AMD (even worse when you consider laptops, which are more like 30:1). People always root for the underdog and overstate what AMD have done.

On a bad day nvidia likely still outsells AMD massively.
