NVIDIA 4000 Series

How does this work if you buy something from ocuk but sign in using Amazon credentials. As I did when I bought expensive motherboard and ram not long ago. I take it overclockers would sort it? Luckily I've had no bother. Also bought a 7800X3D and Arctic freezer iii 360 and 420 direct from rain forest no bother. But what's happened to Chaparral is a nightmare for sure.

Wherever you got it from have to sort it. Nothing to do with Amazon.

Chap actually got his gpu from amazon.

Their customer service is not what it used to be
But then lots of people abused it so that's what happens in the end.
 
Their CS changed around covid time. I used for donkeys yrs. Then had a ssd go faulty, because I didn't have the original credit card I bought it with anymore they refused to refund me. Fought tooth n nail. Was only like 80 quid. Point blank refused.:mad:

All am getting is a copy & paste of this stupid Incident Report from there Customer Service which i have had to fill in and sent multi times and all there saying now is that this Incident report has now been closed due to question number 5 because i have not returned the Asus ROG Strix RTX4090 Gaming Graphics card :eek::mad:

I spent ages on phone over space of a week. Escalated it, but they point blank refused to refund to other card. In end they say the refunded, but that was a lie as that card didn't exist anymore. Even contacted my previous card supplier, but they said if it had been refunded would have contacted me. But unlikely as that number doesn't exist at that time Cancelled my account in end. They used to be amazing in their CS dept. Now they a waste of space imo

They can only issue a refund to the original card or alternatively a gift card however since the refund had been processed this wasn't possible.

The refund has likely went into a holding account with whoever the old card was with. In order to resolve this, the retailer will be able to provide you with a refund reference number the original card issue can use to trace the funds and transfer them to you.

Excellent outcome, glad to hear it got resolved.

A few people have mentioned videoing deliveries from receipt to immediate opening of the package.
I already have cameras on the outside of the house but I'm thinking of adding one covering the porch too, then if I open packages there immediately upon receipt, it'd all be captured.
 
Is there any sort of expected restock of the 4090FE on the Nvideo site? Or perhaps a stock alert discord?

There's no way of knowing when it'll be in stock. Someone usually shouts on here when it happens. Not sure about bots on Discord or elsewhere, I know these were prevalent during the 30-series fiasco of 20/21 but they're less in demand now as availability is fairly good compared to back then (everything's relative)
 
Guys I just had a message saying am being refunded for the Asus RTX4090 :):):)

I think this is only because I went through everything that had happened on there Facebook page with one the Amazon support people that answers on there this morning ;)
I just came in this thread to try find out how you were getting on.
