amd probably has nothing in the xx90 range, but they may have some surprises in the xx80 tier.. interesting how things could pan out, i got blindsided by the 4090 thoughdisgraceful.
I don't have much else to comment. Let's see what AMD do.
Higher I'd have thought. There's no way the FEs are selling for RRP, so AIBs will be even higher than that.So 4080 12gb AIB cards are likely to be around £1300 I suspect
It's OK I still have a 1080P screen knocking about if worst comes to worst. So they locked in DLSS 3 to the 4000 series what a cop out for 3000 card owners

Wouldnt worry too much about that until we see DLSS 3 performing for real.Just DLSS 2 for Ampere then...

76 billion xtors.. i doubt its going to be anything but godlike.. and i dont think amd could have even dreamed those numbers, so i dont see prices coming down either
How soon after you knew the pricing did you manage to pull that from sale? about 2.8 seconds?I'm glad nobody bought my 3080 in MM
Absolute joke pricing. Only one card below $1000 and it's a massively gimped "3080" that would have been a 3070 in any other generation. If AMD miss this open goal then just fold the Radeon division and maybe Intel can have a crack at providing competition.
It's leaving a massive opening for all but the high end, it used to be that the 90 models were silly prices, now the 80's join them. This is leaving a massive opening at the low end for Intel.
The funny thing is, if you can actually make use of the cuda side of things the 4090 is actually relatively good value, I'm not thinking games here, I'm looking at cad etc too... it's also potentially going to be better performance per pound than the 4080.... still stupidly expensive for a geforce though.RTX 4080 (16GB) Starting at £1,269.00
RTX 4080 (12GB) Starting at £949.00
