NVIDIA 4000 Series

Just gonna keep my 3080fe 10gb now. I'm out of this game. Will let my lad start using my pc more and more for gaming and call it a day myself.

He and his mate (their 10/11) were blown away with my pc and the graphics when they used it at the weekend. That was the fun for me once. But I don't get that when you're paying a over inflated prices.

The value proposition is completely imbalanced.

Worth watching. Nvidia is playing these games.

Easier for a 10/11 year old to get the wow factor when it's completely new to them and they have little to no idea how much it cost. Shame that part of that amazement is lost due to the cost of a GPU.

This just makes the consoles look more and more like the way to go.

£450 for a complete gaming system that will last years and years.

4090 8 times more performance than a Xbox series x GPU.

The question is, do you actually need 8 times more performance and what will do you do with it?

People need to seriously ask why they want or need a faster GPU cause I imagine a lot of people really don't need it

Perhaps. But these cards are only for a very small niche of people. Most people that just want a bit of casual gaming to enjoy would be better off putting down ~ £500 for a PS5 and not worry about the system for the next 5 years or so.

Just enjoy. A 4k system with all the bells and whistles at that price is quite astonishing.

I'm not a console gamer myself but I can see it is the smart way to go at the moment.

Supplement it with a mid range gaming pc and you have the best of both worlds for those pc only titles.
