NVIDIA 4000 Series

They don't have the market share to supply EVGA and MSI and Gigabyte and Asus and Powercolor and XFX and ASRock and Sapphire.

Why pee-off their principle partner to take on an AIB you can't supply anyway?

Same reason they accepted XFX when their market share was even lower. And EVGA is the sort of partner that can deliver them new market share.

Psssh! Surprised people are OK with the size of those coolers, given the talk/hate over Noctua's 4 slot design for their 3070 and 3080. :p

In all honesty though, those images are at least 3.x slot designs if not as larger. There'll be a bit of handwringing over installation concerns I'm sure for the smaller cases/systems.

Even if these are fast, the price rises on the lower tier cards announced so far are truly laughable, and in the current realm of cost of living increases and energy price rises, just seem completely out of touch with the wider gaming market.

What with the ending of the COVID crisis (and the increased PC demand from that), and mining, I really hope AMD come out with something more realistically priced cards, or I think we are going to see a lot of people skipping this generation, or walking away from PC tech full stop.

Making me glad I got a 3080 and 3070 for my my machines when I did, at somewhat reasonable prices; this generation is already looking like a joke when you factor in the prices and the predicted performance metrics for rasterised games (which is the vast majority).

I'm not expecting AMD to white knight in, they're also a corporation with shareholders, but they've got a BIG opportunity to steal market share if they price more realistically and the MCM approach allows them to produce cards substantially cheaper. I just don't see them pricing much lower, even if the cost is lower; due to a factor of corporate greed, and limited supply.

When do pre-orders start Gibbo?

October 12th, stock on shelf as well, limited quantities. We will then take back orders but me monitoring closely to avoid anyone waiting months.

Thank you.

Prices for them would be nice :)

Website won't display prices plus with an unknown exchange rate at play and on such an expensive item we will wait until it is time to start taking orders. Prices will vary from £1679 upwards, top level OC cards will be around £1899 and watercooled parts more.
