I was waiting for it to be well patched up which it seems to be now and just like @TNA the final piece was hoping to get a ~RTX 4080 (hopefully at least slightly faster than a 3090TI) to come in at about £850 max which was the money I'd set aside for a new GPU. :(

Looks like I'll be putting that £850 towards a plane ticket so I can join @labbby and glue myself to Nvidia HQ windows! :)

Funny you should say that but I just picked up the MSI 3080 X3 for £490 from the MM (It's the one I always wanted as it is the quietest 3080). I'm just playing Spiderman at 1440p with RT and currently using 8.5Gb so who says 10Gb isn't enough! :P

:cry: Yeah well Jensen can suck a nut this round, lets hope prices drop or AMD can do something. I dont think any of us are in a hurry.

Surprised you got a like from gpuerilla with that that post. At least he finally admits the 3080 was the best GPU of the last gen after laughing at it only having 10GB for two years :p

I still think it'll be another year or two before we see games regularly pushing past 10gb, that said if nvidia was offering a 10gb 4000 card on a 320 bus with just 1700 less cuda than the top card for £650 I don't think I'd turn it down.
