NVIDIA 4000 Series

@Gibbo sorry if it's been asked of you already but Corsair have a 12VHPWR cable cable on their site, when you click list of available retailers it mentions OcUK, is this something you guys will be stocking?

Corsair told me it had sold out in North America and they didn't know when it would be available in order regions.

I think it should be fully adopted by next gen (2024). I saw a video interview where the Corsair guy hints abt current generation graphics not being made to atx 3.0 standards. He was suggesting that a device made to atx 3 standards should automatically underclock depending on feedback from sense pins. In absence of sense pins the device should be automatically underclocking to 450w, the rtx 40 serves as a transitioning platform but that should change quickly.

Also he talked about 12vhpwr contact issues and i believe they might revise specs, in a future release.

What do you mean by fully adopted? Because if you mean the majority will have a 3.0 PSU I think that will probably take about 10 years as PC parts naturally get replaced (a bit like how a HDMI standard eventually becomes the most common one). I doubt people outside of the 1% enthusiasts will buy a PSU they don't need this gen and honestly its unlikely graphics cards with even more draw will be released next gen, with the way things are going. If either did that the other competitor would have a major advantage IMO.

By fully adopted I meant the enthusiast market..and vendors building parts for such markets

Amd has made an official statement somewhere abt graphic cards crossing 600w by next gen (2025 I believe), and the atx 3 standard was actually requested by Nvidia and amd.. a full tower with atx 3 is what it looks like

Are you pretending the xbox series X and PS5 don't exist?

You realise both consoles have still sold in the millions each?
And you realise the amount of sold GPUs that are equivalent or better than the ps5 are much higher right?

You can do the simple math yourself using the steam hardware survey.

Nothing surprises me with this goverment ..
I have little faith in gov let alone Liz truss. Her plans need a lot of trust and faith from the citizens of the UK but the UK has made it very clear how they feel about the gov right now which is precisely why her plans will fail and probably sink this country.
