NVIDIA 4000 Series

 lol don't compare cars mate, that's a whole different ball game. You can't slap performance upgrades on a 3070 and make it out pace and out run a 3090 for less than the price of a 3090.

Nice try though.

Watercooling, TEC, Air/Water chiller... you new to this game bro? :p

At least you used to be able to SLI x70 cards... in those terms it'd be like swapping the i4 in a 318/320 with a v8! :p

It's annoying to have the price increases and rebadging... actually BMW have done it many many times... the 325 used to be an i6... that went to an i4... then the 328... i6 -> i4... then 330! i6 -> i4.

Is there even a 335 anymore? it's probably some 335e with and i4 or i3 + small battery hybrid. Haven't looked at that end of the market for a long time.

All re-badged "upgrades" that were really downgrades.

So tbh - car comparisons are quite relevant in this market, no?

You bought the wrong M car.

This is the only true M car. :P

Or maybe genesis, yes this is a BMW, 1980 M1, very rare. Its name sake is why yours is an M140i, and not just an M1.

E46 for the best all-round M3... but that 4.0 v8 in the E92 has to be one of the best engines ever... to go beyond that, you have to jump to something like a 458 Speciale

They have the gaming performance 64% higher than the 3090, at the same power consumption, but have the efficiency 97% higher, those numbers don't add up.

If a GPU is 65% faster at the same power consumption, then its 65% more efficient, not 97%.

Did they just copy Nvidia's review guide without confirming it? Or even thinking about it for 2 seconds?

Here is the data from Kitguru

Jesus, Linus is looking a bit rough these days

Same can be said about their 4090 review...

The results could have been just made up for some... What a joke really and more reviews I watch the more mistakes I see from all of them and even deliberately being misleading, youtube reviews are dead now with this behaviour and the clear sponsored content that is not being said.

The ones who espouse they are legit do need to in order to fool. Do not be a fool.

Well that's 59% :)

TPU only used Cyberpunk 2077(no RT) to measure efficiency, I think it's to remove any CPU bottleneck and the Kitguru chart uses the average across the game suite

That's why there is a difference. Either way, nothing else comes close to the 4090

Again, for the Nvidia GPU's on that Cyberpunk slide this is pretty much exactly the same as Nvidia's marketing slides.

You have to ask if these people are littrally just copying Nvidia's review directives without questioning it.

Well according to their reviews for the 4090 the 3090ti is now 60% faster than a 3090 that they said was only 5% slower than a 3090ti in the 3090ti review... You can't make this stuff up really. I'm also seeing mistakes from all the reviewers in a way to mislead and the way they speak in the reviews to distract you from the results or to quickly change the results to the next ones that favour nvidia.. This is nothing more than marketing for nvidia now these sites and youtube channels. All kissing up to Nvidia's review guide this time and even HUB because you know they need their free hardware so they can later ebay it for profit like all the youtubers did and I saw many of them on AVforums the uk reviewers selling their review gear and still even some now doing it there and trying to bluff the warranty issues with hardware that shouldn't be sold on as they know. Nice business really.

These are some of the worst reviews for gpus I have ever seen on youtube and review sites.

A 20-30% generational improvement in PPW would be impressive... 50% or greater is epic.

Whether the relative truth is 50 or 100% direct improvement or somewhere between... it's really rather impressive.

Well, do you think these people can afford a dozen staff on good wages, a huge kitted out office compound and who knows how many high end cars at home.... all off the back off Youtube ads and Patreon subs? :)

You're paying for all that through your overpriced GPU's...
