NVIDIA 4000 Series

I don't think Linus has any morality left, this is the guy who complained about "Disloyalty" from his own customers because they weren't satisfied with a 'Trust me bro' warranty on his products.

I mean, he's literally gas lighting his own customers there, what do you call people who in an abusive relationship do that to their other half?

I unsubbed from him long ago.
Can't stand his clickbait, childish and stupid video thumbnails one bit.
I don't wanna see your moronic face all contorted and looking more stupid than it usually does.

Fascinating that almost no retailers willing to put prices up on the site, even now on release day. It's like they're waiting to see what others do. Like a Mexican standoff. I want to buy from OC ideally, but will be looking around later today. Would really help if retailers started showing final pricing before 2pm.
Why would they do that when they’re under NDA until 2pm?

Probably wondering how much they can get away. Those yachts and super cars don’t pay for themselves.

Some have got pricing up. Many haven't. And correct me if I'm wrong for sure, but why would there be an NDA on how individual retailers choose to price products they already have in stock? The embargo, as far as I am aware, is on when they can sell, not when they can list. Unless there's an NDA specifically on AIB pricing that I'm not aware of.

Perhaps its part of the NDA agreement that they cant compete on pricing until certain day and tine to gain an advantage releasing their cards also, which have pricing....

The benchers and reviewers aren't waiting anymore and are just flooding 3D mark with their scores

Why this matters today is that there is a whole bunch of benchmarks for AIB cards up on the hall of fame and this allows us to see their temperature

I've seen Timespy Extreme benches for an MSI, Gainward, Galax and Colorful 4090's and from different users so far and all them are running at 52c to 61c

Basically the AIB 4090's run with water cooling type temperature right out of the box

Some of the AIB cards are 0.5KG heavier than the FE - so will offer even better thermals and lower fan noise.

The 4090 FE is too loud for me. I have the 3090 FE which I already find too loud, the 4090 FE is 5DB louder, so big no for me! AIB card all the way.

Also think Nvidia need to partner up with Noctua to get some quality fans on their FE going forward - the fan wobble that the 4090FE's seem plagued with will likely get worse (and louder) over time.

The fans on my 3090FE seem to have gotten louder over time as well, they feel very cheap.

Anyone still undecided about which card to get lol. I'm torn between Fe, Gigabyte OC or Suprim. Possibly even the Trio even if there is no vapour chamber, I love they have prioritised silence.

The AIB boost is not that high for the price I.E Asus strix 2650 boost
The FE can do 2.800+

I may hold off till overclock net post reviews.

And one of the fans on the 4090 FE is wobbly, multiple reviewers noticed it

If you guys wanna see how the 4090 performs with a old CPU to create a horrible bottleneck, see Joker's review.

He's using a Intel 9900k, which isn't a bad CPU in isolation, its just too weak for the 4090 and creates a bottleneck at 4k.

In several games, at 4k max settings he's getting nearly the same performance as his 3090ti, the 9900k just cannot keep up.

MSI actually promoting their key advantage today, Silence!

If you're on about MSI taking special engineering efforts to reduce coil whine - don't buy into this. They don't.

I've used MSI 3080's and 3090's, both of which had loud coilwhine. If you used an MSI 3000 series with no coilwhine, it was sheer luck and nothing down to MSI's actions.

So the 3090Ti is the sweet spot until CPU's improve some more. Save your cash dudes.
